{"id":789,"date":"2019-03-05T12:21:52","date_gmt":"2019-03-05T17:21:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lancephillips.com\/blog\/?p=789"},"modified":"2019-03-05T12:21:52","modified_gmt":"2019-03-05T17:21:52","slug":"rebgv-monthly-stats-package-housing-market-conditions-continue-to-favour-home-buyers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.phillipsandprem.ca\/blog\/2019\/03\/05\/rebgv-monthly-stats-package-housing-market-conditions-continue-to-favour-home-buyers\/","title":{"rendered":"REBGV Monthly Stats Package &#8211; Housing market conditions continue to favour home buyers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>VANCOUVER, BC \u2013 March 4, 2019 \u2013 The Metro Vancouver* housing market saw increased supply from home sellers and below average demand from home buyers in February.<\/p>\n<p>The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) reports that residential home sales in the region totalled 1,484 in February 2019, a 32.8 per cent decrease from the 2,207 sales recorded in February 2018, and a 34.5 per cent increase from the 1,103 homes sold in January 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Last month\u2019s sales were 42.5 per cent below the 10-year February sales average.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor much of the past four years, we\u2019ve been in a sellers\u2019 market.
